This delightful, detached house is ideally situated on the outskirts of the village of Exford, in the heart of Exmoor, in North Somerset. Perfect for those looking to enjoy country pursuits or a quiet rural retreat, this cottage provides a welcoming holiday home with a wealth of character throughout. Features, including two woodburners, one in a feature fireplace, and ceiling beams, seamlessly combine with modern touches such as the range cooker, Smart TV and WiFi access, to provide high quality accommodation. The homely dining kitchen is a warm and cosy place to get-together for a hearty meal of local Somerset produce; after a day out and about exploring the area and buying some delicious ingredients for your evening meal, relax and enjoy each other's company by the glow of the woodburner as you tuck in, and afterwards, retire to the sitting room, where the second toasty woodburner will keep you warm and comfortable well into the evening. Flexible sleeping arrangements across the four bedrooms mean that a variety of parties can be accommodated, and with two bedrooms boasting en-suite bathrooms, there is an added touch of luxury. Outside, a lovely lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ provide somewhere to sit and unwind after a long walk on Exmoor, plus it's a perfect space for children to let off some steam before bed. The house is on a hill and there are a few steps down from the drive to the back door of the house. With a host of walks, cycle paths and horse riding options on the doorstep, as well as the Exmoor National Park, surrounding in all directions and spanning across Devon and Somerset, you don't have to look far for a new countryside pursuit each day.
