Raise a toast to your getaway as the stars begin to fill the sky before locating the bathroom where you can freshen up ready for a restful sleep in one of five bedrooms. This wonderful holiday home lies paces away from the Birdcage, a fabulous pub where you can enjoy evening drinks or treat your loved ones to a delicious meal after you’ve delved into the town’s history at Brixham Heritage museum.

Take a short stroll through the town to reach the harbour, admire the boats docked while you breathe in the sea air or take to the open water with an exciting boat trip to try and spot the resident dolphins! Follow the South West coastal path to the Berry Head lighthouse which resides in the Berry Head National Nature Reserve and has breath-taking views across the English Channel. The path also runs through twins including Dartmouth where you can immerse yourself in the past at its castle and Paignton home to a pier that the kids are sure to love, glorious golden sands and a zoo filled with exotic animals!

Outdoor enthusiasts should head to Dartmoor National Park for thrilling activities including climbing, canoeing, cycling and horse riding through picturesque surroundings; the opportunities are endless! Experience all this and more at Blue Cottage.

Located on the southern edge of Torbay, an area known as The English Riviera, Brixham is a working fishing harbour with a reputation for year-round warm temperatures and sunny skies. A full-size recreation of Sir Francis Drake's ship, the Golden Hind, dominates the harbour. Small houses dot the hilly, narrow, winding alleyways of Brixham's most picturesque neighbourhood, all of which lead down to the harbour, the heart of the town. Brixham is the home of Britain's largest fishing fleet, and the town's fish market supplies some of the country's finest restaurants with fresh seafood. With two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo, and several regattas and maritime events happening all year round, Brixham is the perfect spot for a classic vacation. In addition to some of the top golf courses in the region, the area also features a plethora of safe cycling trails.
