View Cottage has been newly refurbished in September 2021 and is approached via security coded, gated access which leads into the parking area for two cars (parked side by side). Upon entering the property through the pleasant enclosed rear garden with comfortable outdoor seating . On entering the house, you will find yourself on the ground floor where two of the bedrooms are located; the kingsize bedroom benefits from two sets of double doors looking out onto the rear garden. A twin bedroom and the family bathroom are also on the ground floor. The open plan living space is located on the first floor; the kitchen is fully equipped with all you could need to rustle up a meal, and there is dining seating, a corner sofa and a 55” Smart TV. This is a lovely social area to relax in at the end of a long day, and enjoys lovely views over the rolling countryside to the front. On the second floor is the large master bedroom with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room.
There are lovely areas to sit out in both the landscaped rear garden and at the front of the property, which has arbour seating where the evening sun can be enjoyed. There is also stunning views of the open farmland opposite the property and amazing sea views from the first and second floors.
The property is conveniently located for the Dartmouth Ferries, Brixham, the wider Torbay area/beaches and is also close to National Trust properties Coleton Fishacre and Greenway. Whatever you choose to visit on your stay to this beautiful part of the world, View Cottage is a great place to start. Beach 1¼ miles.

A beautiful well equipped cottage. It was beautifully clean and furnished to a very high standard. The excellent welcome pack was such a lovely treat on arrival. I would highly recommend this cottage for its beautiful setting and the comfort it provides.

Excellent holiday for my family with high class accommodation including a great welcome basket.Accommodation as always to a very high standard with everything you need for a great holiday.Charging point is a good addition and the app and QR code are easy to set up.Location is ideal to explore all of the major towns and attractions.Highly recommended.

This is a return visit to view cottage. As ever the cottage is clean and comfortable and the Welcome Pack exceptional. The weather has been superb so we have visited all our local favourite spots and beaches (to many to list) so if you are looking for a restaurant for a special occasion The Elephant in Torquay and Andria in Dartmouth never fail. We also made our first visit to Sandbridge Barton for a wine tasting and tour experience. This was excellent, very interesting and the setting beautiful. Oh!! And the English Sparkling wine is excellent too. Noss on Dart is nearby. Although there is still a lot of construction work going on a lovely cafe has opened that’s well worth a visit.
