Clements Cottage in Paignton, Devon, is praised for its brilliant location and character. Guests appreciate its proximity to the harbour, beach, and local amenities. The cottage offers a comfortable and cosy stay, with some guests rebooking and recommending it for future stays.
Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with some guests finding the cottage spotless and others reporting it as dirty upon arrival. The inconsistency suggests room for improvement in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for being close to the harbour, beach, and local dining, making it an ideal spot for guests. However, some noted the nearby busy road as a downside.
Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, especially the bedrooms. However, there are comments about dampness and the state of the sofas, indicating that while comfortable, there are areas that could be enhanced.
Facilities are deemed adequate by most, with a well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of a smart TV. Maintenance issues like plumbing and cleanliness of outdoor areas suggest a need for attention to facilities.
Guests mention thoughtful touches such as tea, coffee, biscuits, and dog bowls, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Thanks for providing the dog blanket for the sofa, great idea! Might be worth checking the toilet, it seemed to leak into the bowl sometimes and then refill constantly for a while, then stop. No problem to us, just thinking of your water bill. Thanks again for your great arrangements, everything went very smoothly.

Has everything you could need. Perfect decor, ideal. A proper little holiday home gem. Please don't change anything. Lovely little courtyard, kitchen well equipped, with more than you.would expect. It's the little touches like the dog towel that make the cottage and holiday perfect. Only 1 problem, I only had it for a week, so will definitely book again. And sykes cottages are so helpful and could answer all questions asked. Many thanks
