Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed tiered garden with veranda, garden furniture and small barbecue. Private parking for 1 car and additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. Just a mile from Babbacombe beach and close to Torquay’s centre, Harry’s is a great property for a family to get together and enjoy a holiday in South Devon. As you enter Harry’s through the entrance hallway, there is a downstairs toilet and storage for coats and shoes in the built-in cupboards underneath the stairs. Also on the ground floor there is a large living area with an electric, flame-effect wall mounted fire, a 32" Smart TV and a double sofa bed. There is a door from the living area leading to the outside patio. The dining room/conservatory area, with patio doors leading out onto the outside veranda, is the pefect place to enjoy a family meal whilst admiring the views over the garden. The garden is very pleasant with apple trees and a shed consisting of children’s play equipment for guests to use, as well as deck chairs and a barbecue. Upstairs are three bedrooms, with the master bedroom having a door to the veranda.

The property itself is a very large 3 bedroom property which would be wonderful for a family or friends taking a break together. The garden is lovely with plenty of sitting out spaces and a shed full of stuff to keep the kids entertained (if you take them!) It was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed for a 'home from home' experience. The 'Welcome Pack' was outstanding, very thoughtful. Excellent location for all local amenities/local pubs, butchers, bakers, cafes all within a 5 minute walk. Babbacombe Model Village only 10 minute walk, as is the Cliff Railway down to Oddicombe Beach which leads to a lovely pub The Cary Arms which has a terrace overlooking the sea. Local bus service, No.22 which is on the doorstep, £6.50 for an all day hop on/off ticket, we went to Paignton/Torquay and back to Babbacome, well worth it. Places recommend to eat, Hanburys Fish & Chips was excellent, The Bengal Cottage for an Indian was lovely, huge portions, we ordered for two but was enough for four, took 'doggy bag' home! Nice 'pub food' in the Babbacombe Inn and would highly recommend The Queen Elizabeth Cafe for breakfast it really is a sight to see, dedicated to her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Local Co-op/Sainsburys on your doorstep. All in all was a great place to stay, would definitely recommend.

We had an enjoyable time despite the weather. The house is spacious, comfortable and warm, well situated, close to the coastal footpath. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the coast walk to Torquay with beautiful views, there is a convenient bus service (No 22) to bring you back to the village.There was a pleasant little precinct at the end of the road, we liked the traditional shops especially the bakers. It was also useful to have off road parking.

We had an amazing stay at Harry's place, I couldn't recommend it enough. Location was fab, local to shops and places to eat. The house was spotlessly clean, beds were comfy. We had everything we needed for our stay to make it perfect. Already recommending it to others, honestly 10/10. Thanks so much.
