This spacious semi-detached holiday cottage is attached to the farmhouse on a small holding and livery yard on the edge of the village of Pottern. It is situated on a peaceful bridleway with a private patio. Behind the cottage is a ¼ acre playing and seating area with glorious views towards Salisbury Plain. Visit Stonehenge, Avebury and the lovely National Trust village of Lacock, all only 20 minutes away or Longleat, Bath and Salisbury within ½ an hour. The New Forest, The Cotswolds and Glastonbury are approx 1 hour’s drive. Village shop ¾ mile, post office and pub ½ mile.

A wonderful place to stay. The cottage has a homely feel and is surprisingly spacious. The owner Hazel is lovely, very friendly and has great knowledge of the local area.

Had a lovely week staying at Abbots Ball Farm. We originally chose the cottage as it was pretty much in the middle of all the attractions we wanted to see. Bath & Salisbury being the furthest but only 45 minutes away. Great to have Caan Hill Locks on our doorstep and Avebury and Silbury Hill not too far away. The cottage was very comfortable. The pictures don't really do it justice, with it being alot more spacious then we thought. Great field at the back to take in the views and sunsets. Hazel was the perfect host and as for Lilly her dog, well that was the icing on the cake! If we were to visit Wiltshire again, we would not hesitate to rebook.

We had a lovely week at Abbotts Ball Farm, the cottage was spacious and clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed our daily visits from Lily the dog! The area is very peaceful but close to local amenities. We would definitely recommend this cottage
