Valley House receives high praise for its welcoming atmosphere, extensive and beautiful grounds, and luxurious touches. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the hot tub, which is a consistent highlight. The property's cleanliness, thoughtful welcome packs, and the provision of robes and other amenities contribute to a memorable stay. It's an ideal retreat for family gatherings and celebrations, offering both privacy and space for exploration.
Guests consistently note the property as clean and well-kept. One mention of dog mess in the garden suggests room for improvement, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The property's location is praised for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions. The extensive grounds and wildlife sightings add to the location's charm. However, there is no specific mention of accessibility or convenience to transport, which prevents a perfect score.
The comfort of Valley House is frequently celebrated, with mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. Some guests noted a lack of seating in the lounge and firm mattresses, which slightly affects the score.
The facilities, including the hot tub, kitchen gadgets, and welcome hamper, are appreciated. However, comments about the need for renovation of the treehouse and the desire for more lounge seating indicate that some facilities could be enhanced.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident through the provision of welcome hampers, robes for the hot tub, and other amenities. While gifts are mentioned and add to the positive experience, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Everything was clean, well maintained and decorated to a high standard. The hot tub and gardens were a big hit with all the family. The only issue we had was the attic room which got so hot we had to buy a fan - in order to keep a window open we had to also move a cabinet in front to make sure no kids fell out of it. Otherwise we had a lovely family holiday and would definitely recommend it.
Madeleine
So much space for everyone especially outside, perfect for family get togethers. Lots of extras are provided which contribute to making it a memorable âstayâ. Fresh flowers, an exceptional welcome hamper, towelling robes for all for the hot tub, cupboard full of wellies, towels for the dogs, loads of games for the children etc. We have had a fabulous holiday here.

Comfortable and well-equipped. Beautiful garden and the hot tub was lovely
