Lovely cottage set in the Old Silk Mill private residential area. Waitrose is minutes away as are walks by the river Avon. The town of Malmesbury is set on a hill so expect a few uphill walks, especially to the Abbey.Parking is a bit cramped and details of where to park would be welcome before arriving at the cottage. We had two meals at The Greyhound and would recomend it. Also visit the Old Bell Inn if only to see the decor.

Excellent property in Malmesbury. Really well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. In an ideal location within the Silk mills buildings so only a short walk up the high street to pubs, cafes and restaurantsWe had a great weeks stay at the cottage. My only observation is regarding the signage for the car parking which is not obvious. We did get instructions for the parking as we literally were arriving outside the property and in the welcome pack once you're inside the property - there are details as to where to park.( Against the wall, opposite the white garage door of the "The cottage" - signs on the wall mention garage access required etc ) But as previously mentioned had an excellent time staying at The Cottage and would have no hesitation at all about revisiting in the future.

Nice recent and attractive renovation in a lovely Cotswolds town. Very clean, well appointed for the most part. Very convenient. This cottage is part of a complex in an old industrial facility that has been converted to residential flats. We truly enjoyed our stay there. Just a couple of other comments: the access to the upstairs second bedroom is quite steep and the Wi-Fi signals are quite weak at places within the space, probably due to the thick on walls. Nice appliances and furnishings in general, but rather cheap microwave and very small television. A safety grasp for the bathtub/shower would be helpful as it is somewhat difficult to get into. Overall, a lovely unit and a beautiful location. We will likely return.
