Guests say

Cymryd Uchaf is a historic cottage in Conwy, North Wales, offering stunning views, spacious gardens, and a tranquil location. It's well-equipped for families and dog-friendly, with a games room and outdoor play areas. Guests appreciate the character, comfort, and the provided amenities, making it a memorable stay.

Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property spotless, while others noted issues with dust, dirty dishes, and general upkeep. The inconsistency suggests room for improvement, but many guests were satisfied.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views, tranquility, and proximity to local attractions. The secure gardens and peaceful surroundings contribute to a positive experience, making the location almost universally acclaimed.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with ample space and a warm atmosphere. However, some reviews mention the need for better mattresses and more warmth upon arrival, indicating that while comfort is generally good, there is room for enhancement.

The property is appreciated for its well-equipped kitchen, play areas, and log burners. Nonetheless, comments about maintenance issues, such as the need for larger pans, updating furniture, and fixing the games room, suggest that while facilities are adequate, they could be better maintained.

The provision of toys, games, and a Christmas tree during the festive season reflects a thoughtful touch. However, as these gestures are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

Dogs loved it plenty of garden to explore. Nice, quiet but local amenities still close at hand. Added bonus that it was a good spot to see the northern lights !! Would definitely come back.

Warm, plenty of hot water, well equipped kitchen. The reasons for low scores above 1. Sitting room carpet covered in dog hair, clearly hadn’t been hoovered properly 2. The double beds were great, but the single beds were lumpy & uncomfortable. Rustic doesn’t mean worn out! 3. We couldn’t find instructions for the oven, it was very difficult to work out how to operate it.
