We had a fantastic time at The Mac Shack it had everything we needed and more so comfortable and inviting. Becky and Chris are exceptional hosts and made us all feel so welcome with added touches of a welcome hamper and scones with jam and cream mid week. Highly recommend staying here for an extremely restful break with the added bonus of being surrounded by horses just wonderful thank you so much Becky and Chris Love Teressa Sylvia Darren Chloe and Cassian

Mac Shack was a last minute booking to help lighten the stress during a house move . I walked from chaos to calm the minute I walked through the door. Mac shack was immaculate and very well thought out with nothing that you wished you had brought with you. A great welcome hamper and goodies for the dog ( who sadly was unable to come along) The location is ideal’s and so peaceful- the perfect place to decompress and reset.The bed was massive and accessories very tasteful. I loved reading about the renovation and history which just have the cottage a really personal touch. Mac would be very impressed to see what you have achieved . Don’t hesitate get on long and book it - I can assure it it won’t disappoint x

We had another wonderful stay at Mac Shack. Becky and Chris are very lovely, friendly, and helpful hosts. It's great to see Becky with her beautiful horses. The property has absolutely everything you could need, and we really appreciated all the extra treats provided for us and the dogs. It's particularly lovely to see Sue's artwork on the walls and pay her a visit to look at her studio. The location is perfect for us, peaceful and with good nearby dog walks. Clare is just a five-minute drive away with two good pubs, The **** Inn and The Globe, and a decent butcher's.
