Bluebird Cottage offers two garden spaces; an enclosed front garden with lawn area and a gravelled path leading to a sheltered porch, whilst the rear patio garden has an outhouse for bike storage and is ideal for a barbecue on a sunny evening. The cottage is surrounded by open fields, with excellent cycle and walking routes through charming villages and rolling Suffolk countryside. Nearby Ickworth Park and Anglesey Abbey, both National Trust-owned country houses, provide beautiful parkland and gardens.

So clean and well kept property. The welcome pack and milk were very much appreciated on arrival. Would consider booking again if holidaying in the area.

Ickworth, Anglesey Abbey, Melford Hall, Lavenham Guildhall & Wicken Fen, all National Trust & well worth a visit. There is also an excellent park and ride into Cambridge. We had a very nice week in Bluebird Cottage despite the mixed weather.

The owner met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know, a pleasant change these days of remote key codes! We had a restful week here and found it perfect for access to the main roads for days out in Suffolk. Even the sun stayed with us!
