Aspen Country Park is part of our Evermore Lodge Holidays Collection, and is located in the heart of Suffolk set within prestigious grounds once belonging to the Duke of Norfolk. It is situated in Suffolk’s beautiful countryside and offers an extremely relaxing environment providing peace and quiet and is the idyllic getaway location. If you’re looking for an area drenched in history and culture, then Aspen Country Park is perfect for you, this Park has a rich aristocratic history. The park is set in 220 acres of countryside and has its very own fishing lakes. There are two well-known golf clubs in the village along with a health spa which you can use at a moment’s notice.

It worked really well for us staying here - accommodation really clean and comfortable and very well equipped. It should be noted it is close to a fast road so was quite noisy at night time and the waft from the nearby sewage treatment plant. But that said, we will definitely be booking again as we really enjoyed it. Not much to offer in the park itself but good walking/running and the All Saints Hotel Spa was lovely and nice walks and pubs in the area.

Just a couple of little things . Vent in bathrooms not powerful enough and not over shower or bath ,so steam causing ceiling paint to peel .Toilet seat loose in both double bedrooms .

We greatly enjoyed our stay and the lodge was relatively clean and cosy but there were a few issues which downgrade it from the luxury lodge it is billed as.A lodge for 6 should have seating for 6 but the corner sofa only comfortably seats 3. A week sitting on a dining chair does not make for a relaxing break.The shabby chic dining area needs cleaning properly to remove the stains and ring marks from previous customers.The bathrooms look luxurious but the ceiling paint was flaking into the shower and the park warden can’t fix it without approval from the owner first. The shower tray and partition were very clean but the tiles and grout were brown and mouldy. The bath looks great but the water pressure is so low that it cannot be filled.There are no drawers in the master bedroom and the wardrobe is filled with a Hoover, ironing board, mop and bucket so there is no where to put clothes away.A spotlight was hanging from the ceiling in the twin room and (like the bathrooms) couldn’t be fixed unless authorised by the owner.The outside area hasn’t been cleaned for a long time which is evidenced by the cobwebs covering the eaves, doors and windows making it feel dirty and uncomfortable to sit outside.
