Guests say

Holly Lodge in Aldeburgh receives high praise for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful garden. Its proximity to the beach and town centre is appreciated by guests. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the property's comfort and thoughtful touches, such as toys and welcome gifts, contribute to enjoyable stays for families and groups.

Most guests found Holly Lodge to be spotless and well maintained. However, a few reviews mentioned issues such as dog hairs, wet sofas, and general dirt, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is consistently praised for being close to the beach, shops, and cafes, making it an ideal spot for guests looking to enjoy Aldeburgh.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the spaciousness and the provision of a bathroom for each bedroom. Some minor comments about the need for additional curtains and the temperature settings prevent a perfect score.

The property is well-equipped with a variety of facilities, including toys and games. However, points are deducted for maintenance issues such as door handles needing repair, a small fridge for large groups, and insufficient heating.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful details like welcome gifts and well-stocked kitchens. It should be noted that while such gifts are mentioned, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect. We had plenty of space to park our two cars. It’s a very peaceful street and just a couple of minutes walk into the centre of Aldeburgh. We’d love to come back again. We didn’t have children with us but it looked great for families with the stairgate, toys and big garden with a play house.

We love the space it offers and the configuration of the rooms is perfect. Very little to fault. It’s a big house and only thing that needs improving is the standard temperature the house is set to. We were unable to adjust it. It was quite cold whilst we were there and just added an extra layer. Other than that we would return in a heartbeat!

Only disappointments being no real welcome essentials, thanks for the bubbly but bread and milk would have been nice. Also just 3 small logs for the log burner seems very mean! Those things meant after a 6 hour drive on a Friday pm we had to go straight back out to stock up. Otherwise a fab stay.
