The cottage was described as well equipped, though a few guests noted limited kitchen storage, occasional maintenance needs, and issues with the shower and TV. Overall, the facilities contributed positively to guests' experiences.

Beautiful surroundings with a lovely lake, very peaceful and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We found the shower had a mind of its own as to whether it stayed pointing at you or suddenly the ceiling! I felt the overall cleanliness was ok but we did find a used dog food packet down the side of one of the settees and under sofas need sweeping. But having said that it was a good place for us and I would recommend it to others, the Christmas lights were lovely!

We had a lovely time at horseshoe, as we did a couple of years ago. The only problem was the TV, we tried everything to find normal channels, it was a different one than was mentioned in the booklet. Other than that everything else was fine. Looking forward to going back, hopefully in April. Eddie.
