Please note: There are additional external open tread stairs to the first floor.. Overlooking a lily and duck pond, these charming, detached conversions of a stable and granary have a cosy cottage appeal. Set near the owners’ lovely old farmhouse, they share 4 acres of secluded gardens and an all weather tennis court. Saxtead Green’s famous 18th century post mill (EH) is 1 mile, Framlingham – an attractive market town with a castle and mere – is 2 miles, Southwold with its glorious beach, Aldeburgh and the lovely town of Woodbridge with its pretty harbour are all an easy drive. Fishing, riding and golf are all under 10 miles. Shop and pubs 1 mile.
The Stables (ref E3491) and The Granary (ref E3669) can be booked together to accommodate up to 11 guests.. Both properties: Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Garden with patio and garden furniture. 4-acre grounds with barbecue (Shared). Hard tennis court (please bring own raquets and white soled footwear) (Shared).
Parking. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the garden.

What a lovely place and a fabulous welcome and support through our stay. Perfect for a nice weekend getaway for us 4 old friends. Everything there you would need and the property is in keeping with the granary it was with originally with lots of features.We enjoyed a stroll around framlingham, castle looks lovely, and a visit to Southwold town and harbour where they do lovely fresh fish and chips. Enjoyed a game of tennis, if you look closely you may find one of our balls in the hedge!! And evening/mornings sitting with a pond view.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended. Loverly area and surroundings, very peaceful, owners very friendly.Furnishing/decor is a mix of quirky and dated. Bedding and towels were clean, but could do with replacing. Kitchen a bit lacking and could do with some more glasses and cutlery, with 6ish settings and 6 people meant we were having to wash up in between dishwasher loads. Needs some more items like tongs, chopping boards and baking trays. Nothing that a £200 trip to supermarket or IKEA wouldn’t sort.Kids loved the field to kick a ball in and the Tennis Court.Would return, if only for the area, peace and Tennis Court, but would bring our camping box of bits….
