We stayed at Rose Farm Barn from 3rd to 7th July 2026, and what a wonderful place it is!The property is incredibly spacious and comfortably accommodated the 12 of us staying there. It was also perfect for hosting the 24 family and friends who joined us on the Saturday to celebrate my fiancé's 50th birthday.The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped—we wanted for nothing. The large fridge easily held everything we needed for our celebration, and there was an abundance of glasses, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment. We genuinely couldn't fault it.The living area was warm and comfortable, with plenty of sofas and chairs for everyone to relax. The two large dining tables meant we could all sit together, which made our meals even more enjoyable.The bedrooms were all a great size, with very comfortable beds. As the weather was extremely hot during our stay, it was a lovely touch that each room had its own fan. Towels were also provided for everyone.The children's playroom was fantastic and kept the younger guests entertained for hours. It was packed with things to do, including a pool table, air hockey, table football, board games, and lots of toys. Outside, there was Swingball and a large trampoline, so the children never ran out of things to enjoy. There really was no need to bring any extra entertainment.Jill and Neil were wonderful hosts. They were only ever a phone call away if we had any questions, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Their friendliness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Rose Farm Barn again. Lovely big spacious barn, very comfortable down narrow winding roads surrounded by fields. Consequently the bird life was wonderful, watching great tits fledging from the eaves, hares running through the garden. A lovely country retreat, peaceful with very little traffic,. Country walks, co-op and great pubs 30min walk away.

Rose Farm Barn proved to be a good place to hold my wife's birthday celebrations with children and grandchildren. Plenty of space for adults and kids to rest or play. Only drawback was a gallery double bedroom, making it difficult to be in the sitting room if someone wanted to be in that bed and the downstairs shower for bedroom 1 needed power boost.
