Just a 3 minute walk to the old railway track taking you to the Lighthouse & beautiful sandy beaches, you can easily spend your days walking along the coast or via old rail tack to visit a retail park or Oulton Broad waters, if desired trying your hand at Water sports /Sailing/Kayaking/Paddleboarding/Day boat hire or River trips around the beautiful Broads, why not visit our local Carlton Marshes nature reserve for glamorous dog walks, with a dog friendly refreshments information centre. Within 3 mins waking distance from your stay is Waterlane Leisure Centre, offering two heated indoor swimming pools for adults and toddlers, fully equipped sports centre including a gym, a high climbing wall centre, or can you indulge yourself for a massage, sauna or jacuzzi. The town centre offers a variety of shops and the sea front for amusement arcades, restaurants, and cafés and bars with two piers one over looking the harbour to view the ships coming in and viewing the beautiful sandy beaches. Close by your stay is Gunton nature reserve which takes you through the woodland walks heading to Gunton cliffs, with more venture that awaits with pathways leading to the beach and Pleasurewood Hills is a family theme park on arrival to be greeted by Woody Bear! Suffolk has some beautiful coastlines and blue flag beaches to enjoy along with famous towns and villages such as Southwold with its array of independent shops, pier and the Famous Adnams Brewery, Aldeburgh with its famous fish and chip shop and further along the coast is Thorpeness where you can take out a rowing boat on the Mere and delight in the Peter Pan themed islands. The Norman worrier a dog friendly restaurant and bar & beer garden just walking distance from coastal retreat.

The property is spacious, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! We really enjoyed our stay at the house and were very comfortable for our 5 night stay with shops and takeaways within walking distance.The hosts are very friendly and helpful, we highly recommend the property and will definitely be booking again in the future. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A lovely house, tastefully decorated and wanting for nothing. At first sight, it's location seemed a little doubtful. But as seasoned walkers we had no regrets. I would definitely recommend this place to all I know. Even for the less adventurous it is a good location, with fairly easy and close access to all amenities and days out.Also, a lovely welcome pack waiting for us.Thank you Stuart and Julieta. You should be very proud.

The house was a great base for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk. It was very well equipped with everything you need for a stay.Stuart and Julieta were accomodating and lovely hosts. The welcome pack was very much appreciated by all the quests.Two good takeaways nearby, De Niros and the Oulton Road Fish and Chip shop. We travelled from York by train, so can't comment on finding off road parking, but we were impressed by how easy and cheap it was to get to different places by public transport.
