Head into Norfolk and discover Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile, with a host of seaside attractions including a large funfair.
Thrill seekers are sure to enjoy Pleasurewood Hills, East Anglia’s only theme park. You can be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in under 45 minutes, or alternatively take a tiger walk amongst the trees at Thrigby Wildlife Gardens. Within 8 miles of the property is the beautiful seaside town of Southwold, with its cafes, shops, painted beach hut promenade and traditional pier. Perfect for just relaxing, the window looking over the sea is perfect. the place is very dog friendly and the sea is a very short walk.The chalet its self is comfortable with all you need. Maybe need a few new items in the kitchen as a couple of frying pans were rusty and some cups were chipped. But overall well stocked. Free WiFi and easy to use top up electric meter, we stayed 7 days and only used around £6. Lovely chip shop at the end of the road. Shops were a 10 minute drive away but there is also a local Coop round the corner. I Would definitely come back again.

Stunning view surrounding property with a birdseye view of the sea from the lounge window. Cleanliness of property needs to be improved. It is not acceptable for dirty towels to be left hanging on backs of doors and cooking equipment left washed. A bathmat and more bins in the property should be considered. Really good value for money and a very peaceful property where you can unwind.

Family of 3 generations and the dog had a lovely bank holiday weekend here. The living room has a massive window with a mesmeric view and we all sat on sofa watching the sunrise, moonlit sea and movement of ships and tides.. We all had a swim in sea on the massive dog friendly clean beach. Kids had freedom to be kids and wander around safely. And think we left a little of the dog’s heart there in Kessingland. Owners Dean and Anna were friendly and went extra mile by helping us with our luggage as we were on foot. Only downside a couple of bits needed to make stay more comfortable - salt, pepper, oil, somewhere to hang towels in bathroom and maybe a few more hooks and shelves around the place. No washing machine which is fine for the weekend but longer would’ve been a problem. We’ll be back. 😎
