Guests have enjoyed their stays at the cottage, praising its comfortable and well-equipped nature, tasteful decor, and excellent location in Southwold. The property provides a homely feel and is appreciated for its high-quality furnishings and proximity to local attractions. Some minor maintenance issues and noise disturbances were mentioned, but overall experiences were positive.
The property is generally well-regarded for cleanliness, with only one mention of rubbish found under a bed. This seems to be an isolated incident, as no other reviews raised concerns about cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for being close to the beach, shops, and pubs, making it an ideal base for exploring Southwold. The convenience of the location is a recurring positive theme in the reviews.
The cottage is consistently described as comfortable, with comfortable beds and a cozy atmosphere. However, there were comments about a small second bedroom and a cot that was too small for an older baby, which suggests some room for improvement in comfort for all guests.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of quality appliances and a well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests noted a lack of larger pots and pans, a loose kitchen skirting board, and a desire for a stairgate, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

A terraced period holiday home resting a short distance from the high street of Southwold, 15 Victoria Street is the ideal base for a family looking to explore the Suffolk coast. Enter into a beautiful property where a delightful sitting area encourages you to recline with a cup of coffee and plan the day ahead of you, and there is a fireplace and period features throughout this property which add a sense of history. The kitchen/diner is a fantastic place to cook together, a real social hub decorated in pale greens and browns, with paintings and flowers to add a pop of colour and from here you can access the garden through double glass doors and dine alfresco, surrounded by picturesque shrubs. Three bedrooms offer a space to get cosy for the night, including a king-size with a built-in walk-in shower, a double and a second-floor twin, and you can soak the sand from your air in the family bathroom. Southwold is a beautiful coastal town with a bustling high street, full of independent shops and tasty eateries, there is plenty to discover as you browse handmade products and try out local cuisine. The Dunes beach is fantastic, an expansive sandy beach perfect for walking in the salty air, trying out watersports or even daring to wild swim. Further from the property you will find more beaches at Dunwich and Walberswick and you can delve deeper into the countryside with a visit to Framlingham Castle. Make a holiday to remember with a stay at 15 Victoria Street.
