The traditional kitchen diner is fresh and bright, while calming white tones paired with wooden furniture and an ornamental fireplace in the lounge beckon you to sink into the sofa in the evening to catch up on some TV. Quaint coastal touches in the bathroom make it an ideal place to soak aching muscles in after a day out walking, and these features flow through into the double bedroom. Outside, a table and chairs in the courtyard make it the perfect spot for an al fresco drink after dinner.
Head just 100 metres up the road to Adnams Brewery to join a tour and taste some of their famous beers, or go up to the store and cafe (350 metres) to buy some of your favourite brews. Children will have more fun at the Under the Pier Show (0.5 miles) where fascinating arcade machines will keep them occupied, or you could treat them to a day out at Africa Alive Zoological Reserve (8 miles) where they’ll meet many native African animals. Take bracing walks along the National Trust’s Dunwich Heath (11 miles) where you can spot lots of sea birds, or take a stroll around the wonderful Somerleyton Estate (17 miles) and Fritton Lake.
