Guests have consistently praised 'Time Out, Southwold' for its excellent location, comfort, and views. The property is noted for its proximity to the town centre and the beach, with easy access to walks and local amenities. The garden is appreciated by dog owners, and the house is described as well-equipped and cosy, though one guest mentioned it could be cold in winter. A welcome gift was a pleasant surprise for some guests.
Most guests found the property to be clean and well-kept, with only a minor note regarding the need for a more thorough clean in some areas, such as the shower base and presence of cobwebs.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its quiet setting with lovely views, proximity to the town centre, beach, and local walks, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat.
Guests have reported the house to be comfortable, well equipped, and warm, with a south-facing garden and secure area for dogs, though one mentioned it could be chilly during colder months.
While guests are generally satisfied with the facilities, there is insufficient detail in the reviews to accurately assess the overall state of maintenance and facilities, thus a score cannot be provided.
The mention of a welcome gift with wine, tea, coffee, and biscuits suggests a level of thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, this score reflects the positive gesture without setting expectations.

Lots of space, with lovely views over reed marsh. Nice and basically clean. The house is very cold even with heating on, gas fire in front room a godsend, I know we booked November but single glazing in some rooms need updating. House getting ready for a good clean, especially shower base, cobwebs in some rooms.

It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful at night and so close to the town and beach. We loved Southwold and would definitely come back. We have recommended to our family and friends. The sunset was magnificent on the middle evening of our stay and we couldnât take our eyes of it.

Easy parking on the street outside. House is very comfortable and spacious. Nice garden and, because we had glorious weather, great for a barbecue or two. The area is very quiet being on the outskirts of town overlooking the marshes. The town centre is 10 minutes walk away (aim for the church). Walberswick is a nice 1.5 mile easy walk. Two great pubs there. Take the path past the old railway station and keep heading straight until you get to the bridge. Also went out to Dunwich, which also has some good walks and another very good pub. Recommend staying in this property if you are in Southwold.
