We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oakdale and are a little sad that we couldn't stay longer. It was wonderful to have so much space in such a personally and tastefully decorated house. After day trips to Birmingham or Stratford, we always looked forward to spending the afternoon or evening relaxing in a cozy corner in or around the house, watering the plants. We will never forget these days and highly recommend the house to everyone!

Had a lovely stay for 3 nights although we were out most of the time. Welcome pack in the fridge was really kind.

Disappointed with the condition of the lodge inside and out , needs a lot of work , it could a beautiful place to stay . Resorted to having to use 2 of the outdoor chairs to sit on as all the furniture in living room were uncomfortable and badly stained, double bed was very uncomfortable and felt as if it was lower on one side . Windows and doors were all dirty , water left in tassimo machine and dispenser very dirtydirt , rubbish dumped in overgrown side garden, the hedges had been cut and most of the cuttings were pushed underneath, very untidy , trees need urgent attention, a hazard for cars , and looked like some of them could damage property roof . Inside condition needs attention, ie walls peeling/cracking , paper peeling off , we can understand that it is a old house but maintenence and cleanliness is no excuse. There were positives however , the shower and bathroom were very good , water pressure was great , new table and chairs ouside , brand new bbq , location was great . We were very excited to visit Oakdale Lodge after seeing all the pictures but came away very disappointed
