Impressive welcome by the hosts, who took the trouble to explain how all the appliances work (quite rare from my experience of using cottages.com for many years). Having a smart TV was an unexpected bonus.The cottage was well placed for visiting local National Trust properties and the West Midlands Safari Park, which was the primary reason for my stay.I couldn't get over how quiet the roads were compared to where I live, even on the A roads!My stay was very comfortable and it was easy to keep the cottage warm enough, given we were going through a rather cold spell for May.If the weather had been warmer, I would have enjoyed spending time in the garden which included lawn and patio areas.
