You can also enjoy the local wildlife which includes mountain horses, sheep, and great crested newts and you ll be within easy reach of National cycling routes, Offa s Dyke, the Wye Valley Way, and the Forest of Dean. The vibrant town of Monmouth (9 miles) is close by with elegant Georgian mansions and Victorian courtyards, offering shops, pubs, and restaurants.
The area has many castles including those at Monmouth (9 miles), Goodrich (13.5 miles) & Raglan (16.5 miles), and numerous beautiful churches including the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey (20 miles). Set within the grounds of a traditional working farm where you can enjoy walks across the countryside, you ll find there are panoramic views across to the Welsh mountains as you travel the long driveway into the farm. The barn sits behind a traditional walled courtyard that you can access via the wooden gate.
