Whip up tasty meals with the fresh Welsh and Herefordshire produce you have bought on your trips out, then enjoy a tranquil meal together. When day turns to night, wander through to the lavishly decorated king-size bedroom to indulge in a truly restful sleep. Venture 12.5 miles to Hatterall Ridge and pick up the long-distance Offa’s Dyke Path, which follows much of the border between England and Wales. Plan a day out to the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye, 17 miles away. Wander around the colourful shops, hire canoes on the river and venture into Bannau Brycheiniog from here.
