This beautiful detached property offers comfortable open plan accommodation, a perfect location for a countryside getaway, romantic walks or as a base to explore the county of Herefordshire. Nearby Hereford and Leominster both offer an array of bars, shops and restaurants and it is just a short drive to the towns of Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury which both offer guests a lovely day out. Hereford Cathedral is also the location for the famous Mappa Mundi and chained library.
Aproximately 1.5 miles from the property you will also find an excellent farm shop and garden centre, which we feel sure has something for everyone. There is also a restaurant that serves up freshly prepared food from breakfast to lunch and sandwiches, snacks and hot and cold drinks are available at other times throughout the day.
Hereford city is just 9 miles from the property while the popular town of Hay-on-Wye, also known as ‘the Town of Books’, famous for its annual literary festival, is set just 16 miles away and is set on the Welsh border. Local attractions are plentiful and include the Black and White Village Trail, the historic National Trust Weir Garden, Croft Castle and Brockhampton Estate. After a day of exploring all that this fantastic region has to offer guests can relax in the garden which is set to the rear of this property.

We didn't enjoy this place at all we spent the first hour of our holiday cleaning there were many things that put us off the fridge had hair in it The shower still had shower gel drips on it it was very dusty you could write in it The cupboard under the sink in the bathroom had black spots inside There was old dried food on the plates and the oven was dirty and smoky when we tried to use itThe owner told us it was cleaned 10 days before we arrived and was sorry as she should of checked it but after I raised the problems her husband said he checked it and I it was fine he said I was a lair and being over the top I think he needs to change his attitude to honest feed back and if you can't take honest concerns and address it professional then you have no right being in business especially when dealing with people as abuse is not how you find an amicable result I raised my findings so it wouldn't happen to someone else but obviously the owner couldn't take it I was surprised that this was the what we found as all the reviews were good but now I wonder how many of them are real we left early because we were not comfortable with the barn at all I would certainly not recommend this place but Hereford is beautiful I would return to Hereford but stay somewhere else

Friendly welcome started our holiday. Beautiful gardens. Lovely secluded Area by cottage. Spacious area to enjoy. Every thing you could need was there provided. Comfortable bed , hot shower. Would definitely recommend .
