Family gathering for my Birthday, good accommodation that is comfortable, clean & very well equipped. Fantastic cake left for our arrival which was very much appreciated. Bathroom floor in room 4 needs urgent attention (as mentioned by previous guest) addition of hand towels & soap in the bathrooms would also be nice. We popped to the local co-op to buy some. Overall would recommend & would return.

We were welcomed with Cake, which was delicious. The house is all on one level which was fantastic. The rooms are all a great size with a big king sized comfy bed in 3 rooms and 2 singles in the 4th bedroom. All the ensuite had a great layout with big walkin showers in all as well as a bath in bedroom 1. The kitchen is well equipped, but does need a cheese grater 😁, it even comes with an Airfryer and Slow cooker. The cottage is lovely and warm even without the heating on. Even though the advert stated no tv in the front living room, there is one, as well as a tv in each bedroom except the single bed room. The owners are lovely and came to check we were okay after an hour of arrival, asking if we needed to know anything. Hay on Wye is beautiful with plenty to do and your about an hour and half away from main cities like Cardiff, Shrewsbury and Half an hour from Hereford which is your closest town for main food shopping. There is a large Co-Op in Hay.
