Experience life as a pub landlord while staying at this character holiday home in rural Herefordshire. This property enjoys all of the trappings of a traditional inn, including the generously sized garden, traditional interior features and fun finishing touches including a working jukebox. The refurbished pub invites up to 10 guests to stay, perfect for long-awaited and hard-earned family reunions and offers easy access to so many English and Welsh beauty spots for filling your days with adventure. Access the border between the two countries around 20 miles away, complete with the incredible Offa’s Dyke Path providing an easy-to-follow route along the way.
On arrival, first notice the incredible half-acre of green space that engulfs the property, complete with garden seating and a trampoline for the kids. Once indoors, notice the traditional pub styling that’s been maintained throughout the ground floor, complete with the original bar and fridges to stock with your favourite tipple. The lounge area lends a comfortable feel with a wood burner set at one side, relaxing seating and a Smart TV. There’s also the jukebox that’s pre-loaded with credits, allowing you to fill the room with music whilst you cook and dine together. Five bedrooms are positioned throughout two floors, including an enviable downstairs double with a wood burner, a TV and access to the ground-floor bathroom.
The pretty market town of Leominster is just 2 miles away, complete with antique shops housing endless treasures and plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants to move between. The pretty villages nearby are affectionately referred to as ‘black and white villages’, a nod to their historic architecture. Walk or ride between Weobley (11 miles), Pembridge (10 miles) and Eardisland (7.5 miles), taking in scenic country roads between each locale.
