FOXCOTE NEW COURT FARM is a spacious and comfortable cottage, ideal for large groups and families. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, ample living areas, and well-stocked kitchen. The property's charm and proximity to local attractions enhance the stay, despite some minor maintenance issues.
The property is generally well-kept, though there was a mention of an unclean barbecue and a worn fridge freezer. No other negative comments on cleanliness suggest it is satisfactory.
The location is praised for being peaceful and quiet, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. Its proximity to Ross-on-Wye and various sites makes it an ideal base for exploring.
The property is described as comfortable with plenty of room for guests to relax. The beds are mostly comfortable, although one guest found the double bed too hard, but this seems to be an isolated opinion.
The facilities are adequate for cooking and entertainment, with a well-stocked kitchen and ample seating. However, some appliances appear to be tired, and there's a lack of a comprehensive visitor guide.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.
Allowing guests to enjoy the amazing scenery from the comfort of the property, Foxcote is full of charm and character..

Quiet, peaceful location, close to several attractions including Goodrich Castle and Symonds Yat.The property was ideal for the size of our group, with plenty of space and seating. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment although the fridge freezer was a little worn and we were disappointed that the barbecue had not been cleaned after the previous guests. However, we really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were friendly and approachable.

Foxcote is a spacious house with plenty of room for our multi generational party of 11. Much bigger living areas than photos suggest. The decor and white goods were a little tired but perfectly acceptable. The creaking floors and stairs added to the charm but did not detract from a relaxed stay. The location is lovely and quiet on a private road but it was easy to access A40 with plenty of local amenities and attractions within 10-30 mins away. All the beds were comfortable apart from the double in the family room which I found too hard. It would have been helpful to have a visitor guide giving info all in one place on rubbish/recycling, local amenities, pubs, restaurants etc rather than just piles of leaflets left by previous guests. Host was very friendly and the children loved visiting the cows and sheep. We recommend visiting Puzzlewood, Eastnor Castle, Clearwell caves, Newbridge Farm Park ( especially for under 8s), Wye Butterfly Zoo. The local pub The Cross Keys, a walk down the lane, does great chips!
