The Mill House in Ross-on-Wye is highly praised for its peaceful, rural setting and charming character. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and the property's cleanliness. The surrounding countryside, complete with sheep and streams, provides a tranquil retreat. The narrow access lane adds to the seclusion, although it may challenge some drivers. The host, Sarah, receives commendations for her helpfulness and the thoughtful touches she provides.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, mentioning it is 'really clean' with plenty of amenities. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment contributes to the high score.
The secluded, quiet location is frequently highlighted, with its proximity to local attractions and the countryside. The single-track access lane is noted, but it contributes to the property's peacefulness.
Reviews often describe the property as 'comfortable', 'cosy', and 'roomy', indicating a high level of comfort for guests. The presence of modern bathrooms and comfortable beds supports this score.
The property is well-equipped with a kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, and entertainment options like books and games. Some guests experienced issues with TV connectivity and internet coverage, which slightly affects the score.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as the provision of Kit Kats, as these gifts are not consistently referenced across reviews, it cannot be guaranteed that such gestures are a standard offering. Therefore, the score is set to null.

A really amazing experience, very affordable, cosy, and charming. Fully equipped kitchen, large reception spaces with ample seating, period features and some antique furniture, comfortable beds with modern bathrooms. Parking for several cars, pet friendly and helpful, friendly host, Sarah Amazing surroundings, close to motorway and A-road links but in the heart of the countryside. Grounds to walk in, and a large selection of books, walking guides and games. Dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer a real bonus. Sarah is close by when needed, but gives you space and privacy. Friendly and helpful with all we asked of her and really adds to the experience. Made a special holiday perfect, planning my next trip already.
