Set within Wye Valley AONB, whilst featuring five large bedrooms, offering flexible sleeping arrangements, an enclosed multi-level garden, a woodburning stove, and state-of-the-art appliances, White Roses welcomes fifteen guests and two well-behaved small pets, making it perfect for large families and groups. Rustle up some delicious meals and enjoy them in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, before choosing to relax in either the sitting room, snug or conservatory, all featuring plush furnishings and ample space for your group to unwind. On warmer days, make use of the private outdoor space, whether to the front, or to the rear, arranged for alfresco dining and tranquil strolls as the children of your party play and make memories. Once dusk sets in, climb to the first and second floors, dotted with four family bedrooms and a double, offering convenience for your group, two of which home en-suites, whilst a sleek bathroom services the additional bedrooms. Just a miles walk away from the property is the village of Symonds Yat, where you can take part in plenty of water sports such as canoeing/kayaking, paddle boarding and boat trips, as well as possessing a number of country pubs and an oriental garden. The market town of Monmouth is nearby, where you'll find an array of landmarks and amenities to benefit from; enjoy strolls around Monmouth Castle and Nelson Garden, before dining out and grabbing the essentials. Close by, you'll also arrive at Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, displaying the full life cycle across exotic breeds of butterflies, along with Goodrich Castle, a significant medieval structure, set upon River Wye. Travelling towards Ross-on-Wye, explore the nature-filled terrain of Yat Rock, climb Coppett Hill for far-reaching views across the area, or take to the river by making use of the local canoe hire. Across the border in Wales, Abergavenny is a popular market town, recommended to add to your itinerary, where you can visit its arts and crafts market every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, tour Abergavenny Museum, perfect for exploring, or find yourself trailing across Forest of Dean, a hidden beauty spot, untamed and filled with wildlife. Enjoy a Herefordshire break with all your loved ones at White Roses.

This charming town blends old and new, from the ancient castle remains to the active weekly market and is located near the spectacular Offa's Dyke on the boundary of Wales and England. It is a great place to start if you want to do river boating, take scenic walks, go shopping, or just rest on the banks of the river and watch the rowers who routinely compete and hone their abilities. The Wye, the Monnow, and the Trothy all meet here. Henry V was born in Monmouth, which is also known for its historic architecture, the only surviving mediaeval bridge from the 13th century in Britain, the Nelson Garden, and other notable historical sites. It is true that there are many intriguing places to see in this small town. Short drives will take you to nearby Usk, Abergavenny, Ross-on-Wye, and even into the breath-taking Brecon Beacons, Forest of Dean, and Wye Valley. The surrounding areas are also rich in history. An ideal setting with lots to see and do for people of all ages.

The location was fab, so much to do and also great eateries nearby. It is comfortable and warm, lovely for families and a big garden to play. The owners are very responsive to any problems. The only slight downside is the close proximity to A40, which can be a bit noisy. But otherwise super.

Very spacious property. No issues. Very happy. Had a great time. Would visit again. Situated in a very scenic area as well - with lots to do for all (we were aged from 1 - 85).
