Valley View is a well-regarded cottage in Herefordshire, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and friendly owners. Guests enjoyed the beautiful views, the presence of animals, and the thoughtful welcome packs. Some found the spiral staircase and bed comfort to be minor issues, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.
Guests consistently noted the cottage's spotlessness and the extra precautions for cleanliness, especially during the Covid period. The high standard of cleanliness contributed positively to their stays.
The cottage's peaceful and beautiful location was frequently mentioned, with stunning views and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests noted difficulty in finding the property initially, slightly impacting the score.
The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, mentioning the quality of the furnishings and the warmth provided. A few guests mentioned the sofas and bed being slightly uncomfortable, which slightly lowers the score.
The property was well-equipped with necessary amenities, and guests appreciated the eco-friendly features and full washing facilities. The lack of strong Wi-Fi and the mention of a small upstairs with no toilet facilities are noted, but overall, the facilities met guests' needs.
Many guests expressed gratitude for the welcome packs, which included local goodies, although it is politely noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed. The owners' helpfulness and the invitation to engage with the animals also reflect their thoughtfulness.

The cottage was perfect with a great view across the valley. Lots of walking in the area and lovely places to visit. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The owners were polite and helpful in giving advice on where to visit in the local area. The accommodation had everything needed for a great holiday. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was comfortable. The views were beautiful from both the lounge and the bedroom. It was a pain having to use the bathroom (which was downstairs) when you are in the bedroom (which is upstairs). It did state this in the 'blurb', but I had clearly missed it. Overall, a great accommodation.
