Guests say

Bequia is a beautifully decorated cottage set in a tranquil, stunning rural location, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. Guests consistently praise its immaculate cleanliness, high standard of furnishings, and breathtaking views. The cottage is well-equipped and cosy, with thoughtful touches such as a log fire and games. The owners are welcoming and helpful, and the property is dog-friendly. While the remote setting offers wonderful walks and solitude, amenities require a drive and the approach roads are narrow. Overall, guests highly recommend this cottage for a restful countryside escape.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and immaculately presented, with clean towels and facilities. Only one minor mention of a dirty sugar container was noted, but this did not detract from the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

The location is widely praised for its beauty, peace, and access to scenic walks. Its remoteness is appreciated by those seeking a getaway, though some mention the narrow country lanes and distance to amenities as a consideration.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and spacious, with comfy beds and excellent insulation. The log fire and tranquil setting contribute to a relaxing atmosphere.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, with a fully equipped kitchen, good cooking facilities, and high-quality furnishings. A few minor suggestions for improvement (e.g., shower mat, bathrobes) were mentioned, but overall satisfaction is very high.

Guests appreciated the warm welcome from the owners, helpful local recommendations, and occasional thoughtful touches such as extra wood for the fire. While some mention a welcome hamper or gifts, please note these are not guaranteed for all guests.

Great as a complete getaway from it all. Take food and drinks with you as there is nowhere to “pop out “ to. Cooking facilities are good so we made some excellent meals and ate in the magnificent dining room finishing the evenings with board games. Breakfast on the decking was a joy.Certainly to be recommended as also central for the exploration of Shropshire.

Lovely cottage, finished to a high standard. Beautiful views from the property over the valley. We arrived late at night, the hosts were very accommodating and left us the keys so we could find them. We had a great stay

Lovely place to stay, high standard in all ways. Lovely host. The remote location may put some guests off but worth the journey as the end result is fabulous
