Guests consistently praise the Bequia - REET cottage for its tranquil setting, beautiful views, and proximity to walking trails in the Shropshire hills. The property is described as clean, well-equipped, and cosy, with a warm welcome from the owners. Its remote location offers peace and solitude, though it is within driving distance of local amenities and attractions.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'immaculately clean on arrival'. One minor note on a sugar container being dirty slightly impacts the score.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquility, with easy access to walking trails and nearby towns, despite being remote. The drive along narrow country lanes is noted, but not seen as a significant drawback.
Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the beds comfy and the cottage cosy, especially with the log burner. The property is well insulated, contributing to a comfortable stay.
Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped and beautifully furnished. A suggestion for a shower mat and hand wash indicates room for minor improvements.
While the reviews reflect a warm welcome and positive interactions with the owners, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would fall under this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

The place was perfect for what we wanted. The setting was beautiful and very quiet. It was close to lots of beautiful walking in the Shropshire hills but also from the door. The fire and lots of games were a bonus on coming in after walking to be able to light the fire and settle in for the evening. Over all, I’d highly recommend this place for comfort, setting and surrounding areas.

Such a fantastic location, rain or shine. The cottage is exquisite, with everything you need, and quite spacious, yet super cosy, with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a great deck perfect for a cheeky sundowner, as you look over the valley to the hills beyond. It's perfectly positioned for all the main visitor towns in the area, but remember it is a farm on a hill, so all amenities are a drive away. Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ludlow, are all roughly 20 minutes drive. That said, there are some great walks directly from the cottage. On the odd rainy day it was nice to stay in, with the fire alight, and read a book or watching the ever changing weather over the hills.
