Kite's Nest is a charming and peaceful cottage set in beautiful Shropshire countryside, ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking tranquillity and nature. Guests consistently praise the warm welcome from the owners, the immaculate cleanliness, and the well-equipped, cosy accommodation. The grounds, gardens, and access to woodland walks are a highlight, as are the friendly animals on the farm. The location is perfect for exploring local attractions and walking routes. Minor issues such as occasional drafts or missing maps are far outweighed by the overall comfort and hospitality experienced by guests.
Multiple reviews mention the cottage being spotless, very clean, and well maintained. Only one review noted dead flies on windowsills, but this was an isolated comment. Overall, guests are highly satisfied with the cleanliness.
The rural, tranquil setting and proximity to walking routes and local attractions are repeatedly praised. Guests love the beautiful countryside, gardens, and easy access to Church Stretton and other destinations.
Guests describe the cottage as cosy, warm, comfortable, and spacious for two. The beds and living areas are frequently highlighted for their comfort, with only minor mentions of drafts or small ground floor space.
The cottage is described as well equipped, with all necessary amenities for self-catering, including a dishwasher (though some would prefer a washing machine). Facilities are well maintained, and the grounds are a significant bonus.
Guests often mention the owners' friendliness, helpfulness, and thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts (e.g., daffodils and biscuits), though these are not guaranteed. The owners are praised for their responsiveness and care during guests' stays.

The ground floor accommodation is on the small side but had everything needed for 2 people with 2 small dogs! The first floor, bedroom & bathroom are really spacious & comfortable. The property is in a most beautiful setting with fabulous walks from the door and within easy driving distance of plenty of fantastic places of interest to visit. We were made to feel very welcome and would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
