Walk to the Long Mynd, owned and managed by the National Trust with well maintained paths, bridleways and mountain bike trails. This landscape of rolling hills and river valleys is perfect for walking, cycling, golf and hang gliding to mention just a few of the activities on offer. Enjoy many events and festivals celebrating good food, arts and crafts and music in the area. Visit museums, galleries, Stokesay Castle and National Trust historic houses such as Attingham Park. Or head to the notable towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury with independent shops and eateries.

The black and white timbered house is steeped in history and full of character with flagstone floors, exposed beams, high and low ceilings, wooden floors, a quirky staircase and feature fireplace, with all your creature comforts. Enter the snug with plenty of space to hang up your coats and kick off your boots, sit on the sofa and settle into this lovely house. There is also a TV in this room and views over the garden. Continue through into the superb kitchen/diner which is well equipped with slate work surfaces, electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and washer/dryer, with all the thoughtful little extras.
The dining table takes centre stage by the original medieval wall painting, perfect for everyone to gather round, enjoy a meal and spend time together. After dinner, walk through to the lounge with feature fireplace, relax on the sofa, plan your activities or enjoy a good book. For cosy nights in maybe light the wood burner and watch a film on the TV. Also, on the ground floor is the stylish shower room with shower and WC. There are two staircases in the property, one leads to the delightful double bedroom with views over the village towards the hills. The other staircase leads to the two further bedrooms and the stylish bathroom with freestanding bath and WC.
There is one bedroom with super king size zip and link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) and views over the village, and a cosy double bedroom also with views over the garden. Outside there is an enclosed garden with established trees, shrubs and lawn. The paved patio with table and chairs is perfect for a morning coffee or al fresco dining, maybe enjoy a charcoal BBQ in the evening. There is roadside parking outside the property for two cars. And a bike rack is in the garden for your bicycles, don t forget to bring your locks.
