The large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area offers fantastic furnishings throughout, including a large antler light centre piece and a rustic handcrafted dining and coffee table. The wonderful master bedroom is on the first floor and boasts a superb king-size double bed with en-suite facilities, as well as a feature glazed frontage from where idyllic Shropshire countryside views can be seen. Open up the large French doors from the living area onto the huge south-facing, all weather terrace from where you can relax in the superb hydrotherapy spa hot tub with mood lighting, whilst admiring the views of the Shropshire countryside and watching the regular visitors of all kinds of wildlife that come out to play from the adjacent wood. In the right place to visit plenty of places and only had to drive on a single road for a mile. Luck be with you if you miss the tractors, Out of all the times we travelled on them we only got caught twice. LOL The Lodge had everything needed for your stay . Lot's of squirels in the back field, It was great to watch. I had only 2 drawbacks to the Lodge. 1. The Light switch is right next to the front door, so when you go upstairs at night, by the time you turn off the light it is pitch black and you have to get to the other side of the room and up the stairs in the dark. Luckily we had our torches. 2. The bed upstairs was not very comfortable for us so we didn't get a good nights sleep, it might be ok for others. Overall a great place.

It was tastefully decorated and very cosy. The views are anazing with just fields and sheep all around. The hot tub was a real bonus and was well used. Barbara was really lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will return again.
