Perched in the historic town of Ludlow, Shropshire, is this beautiful, detached Grade II listed house, Dinham Court. Enjoying an exceptional location adjacent to the magnificent castle, with views of the castle walls on offer from the superb interior which boasts a wealth of character and original features, Dinham Court is fantastic dog-friendly choice for couples, friends and families. The property benefits from two parking spaces, one off-road and the other with permit, and a lovely courtyard with furniture, where you can savour your favourite tipple with a view! Be welcomed into the inviting sitting room, where you can look forward to relaxing on the plush seating in front of the 50” Smart TV, as the gas fire gently warms the space. Adjacent to the room, you will find a single bedroom with day bed, ideal for those with limited mobility. Continue through to the kitchen/diner, where you can whip up tasty dishes, ready to savour at the dining table over celebratory bottles of fizz. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility and a well-appointed shower room. Head upstairs, where you will find two beautiful bathrooms, where you can freshen up after an adventure filled day, along with three further tastefully decorated bedrooms, two king-size, one with balcony and en-suite shower room, and a twin with zip/link. Located on the banks of the Teme River in the midst of the breathtaking Welsh Marches is the historic market town of Ludlow. Ludlow Castle, at over 900 years old, is one of the first stone castles built in England, and it is just one of more than 500 listed buildings in the town that offer a fascinating range of architecture. The castle is now open year-round, and it plays host to a wide variety of events, such as festivals celebrating food, art, literature, and more. Located directly on the riverbank, below the castle, Millenium Green features a large public green and weir as well as high-quality indoor and outdoor dining options at the Green Cafe. The town of Ludlow has been hosting street markets since the 12th century. A weekly outdoor market is held in the town square on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays all year round. The 'Local to Ludlow' produce market on some Thursdays and an Antique & Flea market on some Sundays feature more than forty stalls selling a variety of goods, such as fresh produce, cheeses, books, and a selection of local crafts. In addition to being a shopper's and foodie's paradise, Ludlow also features an abundance of delicious restaurants. There are numerous restaurants and bars in town, as well as several high-end boutiques selling clothing and unique gifts.     Dinham Court was a great place to stay, handy to all the many amenities that the town offered and all within a short walk. There was a great choice of walks local to the area too, as you immediately left the front door. We had a great time at Dinham Court & Ludlow….a real treat! Thank you.

    It’s nice to unpack then leave the car parked up for the week. Everything you need is on the doorstep. Lots of nice places to eat and interesting shops and the market to explore. Dinham House is spacious clean and very comfortable and has all the facilities needed. We are already looking forward to our next visit

    Plenty of space, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen are 2nd visit and it was perfect again. Brilliant having the parking spaces.
