The Lodge is an elegant, modern log cabin in the village of Bedlam near to the historic town of Ludlow in Shropshire. With its open plan layout and outside covered barbecue area, this property is ideal for a family holiday. The open plan living area contains eloquent, majestic decor, full of whites, pinks and wooden furniturem this lodge is fabulously combining the traditional with the modern. The well-furnished kitchen looks like that of a stately home with all of the equipment you could need in a secluded log cabin. The open plan design really makes this property feel homely and comforting, as well as the comfortable seating and wood burning stove in the sitting room. Towards the back of the log cabin sits two large, fashionable bedrooms complete with dressing tables and delicate floral curtains and bed linen. The bathroom presents a large shower in a classy, aesthetic room complete with a heated towel rail and simple, stylish decor. The outside bares some of this property's best assets, boasting a hot tub and an undercover kitchen area, complete with a BBQ, fridge/freezer and comfy seating, making this into an astonishingly well designed property. If you manage to get out of this breathtaking log cabin, the market town of Ludlow has plenty to show, ranging from stunning views to rivers and countryside, it is home to many markets and Ludlow castle. Within driving distance stand impressive locations of Hereford and Shrewsbury, places with great history and interest to make your trip just that extra bit special. Overall an incredible property set in an amazing location.

The historic town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amongst the countryside of the Welsh Marches. Ludlow provides a backdrop for the town’s regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle and showcasing a range of goods - from cheeses and fresh produce to books and local crafts. Ludlow is renowned for its shopping, with a number of antique and art and craft shops, along with restaurants and tea shops, pubs and inns. Ludlow Castle is over 900 years old and contains fascinating examples of architecture while below, the Millennium Green offers a large public riverside green and the popular Green Cafe.

Lawned area to front, patio area with furniture, BBQ and hot tub to side.

Two well-behaved dogs allowed.

Sorry, no smoking.

Shop 3 miles, pub 4 miles.

Please note: Check in is after 4pm and check out by 10:30am.

Please note: Due to hygiene reasons the water for the hot tub is replaced between each guest.

In some instances it may take up to 24 hours for the water to reach full temperature.

    Met owner Marie shortly after arriving who was very friendly. Lodge and surroundings are beautiful, views from the Lodge were stunning ( once the mist/low cloud had cleared

    While the weather wasn’t good the amenities made up for it. The outdoor covered area and covered hot tub could be used anytime. The lodge was a great base for walks and close to the market town Ludlow. Marie (owner) was available if we needed anything and was very friendly. We had a very relaxing time. Simon our little frenchie really enjoyed the secure garden. Hope to return in the future. Regards Sue, Bob & Simon. Xx

    They let us know when we could get into the lodge before time allocated. Peaceful and quiet, restaurant on site with lovely food., near to places of interest. Cannot find a fault. Lovely holiday was had.
