This delightful detached cottage is set in the historic village of Richards Castle within the picturesque Shropshire countryside, offering guests plenty of opportunities for walks and sightseeing. Just 4 miles away from the town of Ludlow, which is at the start of the Mortimer Trail, a long-distance path to Kington on the Herefordshire/Wales border and boasts stunning views. The town of Ludlow lies in the shadow of the 13th-century Ludlow Castle which regularly holds events and is a must day out for guests stopping at the property. The town itself also boasts an array of shops, bars and restaurants for guests to enjoy.

Our second visit to this beautiful cottage. Furnished to a high standard and the welcome pack is a touch of luxury. Great location with short drive to Ludlow, Berrington Hall and Croft Castle. We will be back again next year.

Immaculate cottage with everything you could need. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we were greeted with a very generous welcome pack too. There was ample wood for the burner which made for cosy evenings on a cold and wet weekend. Owners are very friendly and attentive. We'll be back when the weather is better!
