We enjoyed our stay at cider mill cottage unfortunately I had to clean the fridge on our arrival and the property smelt doggy, we could not recommend it to friends because of this. There was no handwashing liquid in the bathroom and cleaning products were at a minimal for the toilet and kitchen. On a positive side the garden was very spacious for our dog and peaceful.

Just returned home from a wonderful week of walking with our dogs Stanley (lab) and Cookie (working springer). The cottage was perfect for hiking straight from the front door! We explored all of Mortimer Forest, Croft parkland and Bircher coppice. We managed other walks over at Clee Hill. Sue and Martin (and the rest of the family) were very welcoming- never had a pot of tea made for me upon arrival before! Loads of good local advice, thankyou. We didn’t need the wood burner, but the great enclosed garden was wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for more

Our 16th visit to Cider Mill Cottage which we regard as almost a second home. Sadly the weather was awful, rain all week, but just sitting in the upstairs lounge with the log burner going was very relaxing. We did get to the lovelyTenbury Wells and paid a visit to the Little Herb Remedy shop for a stock up on hand-made toiletries etc. The shop is run by Jayne who has appeared in paranormal tv programmes. With so much rain unfortunately our labrador Fern couldn't take advantage of the wonderful dog-secure garden on this visit but we know from previous visits how good it is. Also from past visits we can recommend the local walks, Ludlow, Leominster and Mortimer Forest. We have already booked our 17th visit for September.
