This detached lodge is sat on the owners small holding in a superb location for exploring the delightful borderlands of England and Wales, with the historic market town of Oswestry with its fine selection of shops, restaurants and pubs just 4 miles away. The location offers a myriad of family attractions and opportunities for outdoor pursuits close by. Canadian canoes can be hired on the nearby Montgomery Canal and horse drawn boat rides can also be enjoyed.
Wonderful walking, golf and fishing are all available nearby. The historic city of Chester and Shrewsbury are both under an hour’s drive and Snowdonia National Park is easily accessible. Shops and restaurants 4 miles, pub 1 mile.

Really enjoyed our stay at Bumble Lodge. It was perfect for our needs. Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Also made to feel very welcome with a few gifts on arrival. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family.

Everything you could ask for and more. Bumble Lodge was much better than the online pictures. We had everything we needed for our holiday. The welcome pack was excellent, the cake was amazing. Everything had attention to detail. Definitely excellent value for money.

We loved the exceptionally well presented Bumble Lodge. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable. Our week in late Nov/early Dec started very wet and turned colder and frosty. The Lodge was warm and cosy. The rural setting was quiet and ideally located for exploring the area.
