Guests say

Oak Barn Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and stunning location, offering tranquility and beautiful views. Guests appreciate the well-presented home with thoughtful details and en suite bathrooms. The approach via a single lane track is noted, with some finding it challenging but worth the seclusion and scenery.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean and immaculately presented, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is celebrated for its stunning views and peacefulness. However, the challenging access road and its condition slightly detract from the overall experience.

Reviewers find the cottage comfortable, with cosy furnishings and comfy beds, contributing to a relaxing stay.

Facilities like a washing machine are appreciated, but the small kitchen and difficulty accessing some amenities suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While guests are pleased with the attention to detail and the provision of essentials, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

Lovely place, very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there. Having a washing machine fantastic The grounds are amazing with fantastic viewsWe have had a wonderful time, so quite and relaxing even though we have had very heavy rain. It is up a long lane which is a bit bumpy and floods which is not ideal if you havnt got a suitable vehicle. Would definitely recommend, great value.

This lovely old cottage is in a lovely setting. Ideal for those wanting a quiet break away from hustle and bustle. There is a beautiful garden to relax in and take in the stunning view. The only criticism would be that the kitchen is very small and had to kneel on the floor to access the cupboard with crockery and pans in . Would be good to put a shelf on the wall.

This is a comfortable cottage in a stunning location. However, the drive up the lane from the main road is lengthy and only as wide as a car. There are blind bends and it is a nightmare to reverse when you meet another vehicle. The last 30 yards is rutted, uneven and made of stones catching the underside of the car each time we entered/exited the property. I think the approach to the cottage from the main road should be included in the description. We did have a good week as the weather was brilliant and we visited some lovely places. We would visit the area again, just not this property.
