Guests have found the 'Wren' cottage in Oswestry to be a delightful retreat, offering a cosy and peaceful stay with a hot tub as a highlight. The surrounding scenery is praised for its beauty, and the property is appreciated for its tranquillity and modern cleanliness. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain amenities are noted, these do not detract from the overall positive experiences and the charm of a simple countryside getaway.
The property is consistently described as clean, with a well-maintained jacuzzi. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest a high standard is being met.
The location is celebrated for its quietness, remoteness, and beautiful scenery. It is also conveniently close to larger towns, offering the best of both worlds.
The lodge is described as cosy and perfect for two, indicating a comfortable stay. However, the lack of an oven in some cabins suggests a slight compromise on comfort for those wishing to cook.
Facilities like the hot tub are highly praised, but issues with a BBQ not working and a broken step indicate some maintenance concerns. The absence of a smart TV and an oven in some cabins also affects this score.
There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

An amazing stay, extremely peaceful surroundings and a tiny cabin for a super simple get away. There is no oven in the smaller cabins like robin or wren even though this is in the description and the BBQ wasnt in working order but apart from that if your looking for a simple place in a beautiful countryside then it's absolutely perfect.
