Northwood Farm Cottage features all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay but still retains its rustic country charm. Sleeping up to three guests in two bedrooms, it is perfect for couples, small families and friends looking to escape to a peaceful, rural setting. The owners live next door and are on hand if you need any help with local recommendations.
Step inside and you are welcomed into a warm and inviting barn-style cottage. At the heart of the home is a cosy open plan living and dining area with under floor heating throughout. Northwood Farm Cottage offers guests the chance to relax and watch Sky Sports and BT Sports/TNT BT Sports, Sky Sports via SkyGo login details provided allowing you to watch all of the Premier League and Champions League games whilst unwinding after a day walking of exploring! There are also ample spots to work from home, taking advantage of the super fast fibre broadband. There’s a lovely little seating nook under the stairs perfect for reading or planning the next day’s activities together. Next door through to the kitchen, it is fully equipped with modern appliances, and a breakfast bar, depending on your mood you can choose to eat here or at the dining table next door. The two bedrooms are upstairs, one with a sumptuous double bed and the other a single. Both beds are very comfortable and are kitted out with Joules linens making it extra comfortable. The bathroom is between the two bedrooms with a shower over the bath and heated towel rail.
Northwood Farm Cottage is the perfect base from which to discover this idyllic part of the country. Right from your doorstep are great walks and lots of countryside to explore. You are very close to the market towns of Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Llangollen, and Shrewsbury all offering, fantastic independent local shopping, great coffee shops and restaurants to visit. Also close by there is Alderford Lake, which has a lovely farm shop, and seasonal activities and events going on throughout the year. A must visit!
Hawkstone Park Follies is another place to explore, jam packed with walks, trails, and private tours, with the chance to see lots of wildlife and of course the follies. Or if you like amazing food within a village setting, try the local inn.
There is also an electric vehicle charging point available for overnight charging (chargeable at £10), as well as super-fast chargers just a five minute drive from the cottage.

SUPERB 10/10Our stay at Northwood Farm cottage was outstanding we really did want to stay for longer. The cottage was exceptionally clean and has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and we woke feeling refreshed each morning tasteful bedding and quality fittings made all the difference and amazingly equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking. (Jodie & Tom you should be really proud you have created the perfect getaway) Thankyou for your hospitality and we will definitely be returning very soon.Janice & Gordon x

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It's immaculate throughout.The access is fine; the lanes are ok to travel down ....not too narrow, plenty of passing places . You park outside the cottage in the assigned space . The place is utterly calm and quiet , yet feels safe and welcoming .Everything provided is high quality...bedding, towels, crockery .It is warm and cozy throughout. Easy to use heating system . Would very happily return .

A beautiful, cosy and warm cottage within close reach of Whitchurch which is a lovely town.Cottage had all of your home comforts and plenty of information on where to visit during your stay. Tom (the owner) was excellent and very helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. We really enjoyed our stay.
