It was even more cosy and cottage core-esque than the photos. Mel came to greet us and show us around even in the dark as we arrived late in the evening. The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals. Our favourite part was the log fire (you do not even need heating on with this), the bedroom with its gorgeous views in the morning and the paddock with the animals! Just a short drive (<10 minute drive) from Cannock Chase forest, you are spoilt for choice with gorgeous walks. Really really lovely stay and would recommend.

The Cottage was perfect with everything we needed and Mel was the perfect host. The little welcome gifts were a nice touch. The cottage is immaculate, use of firewood to keep cozy, loved the floor to ceiling window giving a beautiful view each morning. Stunning area to go on some lovely walks right from the door of the cottage. 2 nice pubs within walking distance but take a torch if going out at night, Very private. Thanks Mel we loved our stay Georgia & Stu x

The cottage has everything you need, and the area around it has many hidden gems, especially the donuts at the canalside farm shop. Mel and George are wonderful hosts and give you a warm welcome. See our review from last year and we have already booked for next year.
