There is not enough information provided in the reviews to accurately assess the location. No specific comments about the surrounding area or accessibility were made.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a peaceful area and comfy beds. The lack of reported issues related to comfort suggests guests found their stay pleasant.
Facilities like the pool and games room are appreciated, but there are several reports of maintenance issues such as non-working jacuzzi bubbles, inadequate lighting in the games room, and a leaking bath. These indicate room for improvement.

We really enjoyed staying at Brankley cottage, the area is so peaceful and the cottage is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed using the pool (unfortunately the jacuzzi/hot tub bubbles didn't seem to work), our boys loved the games room and playing pool. It has a really well enquired kitchen, after reading another review I was pleased I took soap, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. There is lots to do in the area, we had a wonderful week and would definitely consider coming again! Thank you

We arrived on the 14 April 2025, the property was listed with a pool which we were unable to use, no fault to the owner but it was a shame. The kitchen only provided me with a sponge and a dry cloth. Had to buy the basics for the house like handwash, washing up liquid, foil, bin bags, the hoover was really smelly and required a change. On the third day we decided to use the bath, the ceiling below started leaking, called the owner who confirmed this was a known issue to them and it may be due to a hole/gap near the shower cubicle. He promised to revisit the following day for further investigation, but never turned up. Just to avoid further issues we decided not to use the bath, we had to stop using a service which we paid for. Apart from that the cottage was clean and beautiful inside.

Cottage was beautiful but unfortunately due to many other reasons, we would. The cottage itself was beautiful - the beds were comfy. Upon arrival, hot tub and jacuzzi was closed for maintenance, which we were not notified prior to arriving. Games room was inadequate, very little lighting, not cleaned (dusty) and random hoovers around. Games room Needs some attention! The cottage kitchen lights did not work, the kitchen fire alarm had no batteries in and was not in use.. this was concerning. No rear garden lighting, also an health and safety concern.
