Two steps down from the front door, the living area opens to an open garden and a private patio, perfect for enjoying the stunning countryside views. Well-behave dogs are welcome, even horses are welcome by prior arrangement.

We had a lovely time at The Granary cottage! Very peaceful setting, cosy, warm and well equipped house with everything we could need. Comfy beds ensured a good nights sleep for us all. We were there partly for volunteer work purposes so didn’t get a lot of time to explore the area but the local village was nice and there seemed to be a few tourist attractions not too far away. Our little dog loved the garden and walks around the cottage with plenty of wildlife smells to occupy her. Although the garden isn’t enclosed, a flexi lead gave her some freedom to explore safely. We would definitely recommend this cottage and are hoping to visit again soon 😊
