Guests say

Hurst View Cottage receives high praise for its comfort, cleanliness, and location, with guests enjoying the spaciousness, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful touches like a welcome basket. The property is well-suited for families and serves as a perfect base for exploring the Peak District. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, guests report a very positive experience and often express a desire to return.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, with only one minor comment about a sofa cushion, which does not significantly impact the overall high standards of cleanliness observed by the majority.

The cottage's location is frequently highlighted as ideal for relaxation and exploring the Peak District, with its stunning views and proximity to local attractions and amenities.

Reviewers find the cottage very comfortable, noting the quality of the beds and bedding, spaciousness for families, and a cosy atmosphere that contributes to a home-from-home experience.

While the facilities are generally praised, there are some comments about minor maintenance issues such as a TV with a red line on the screen, a small toaster, and a shower unit needing attention. These are balanced by positive remarks about the overall well-appointed nature of the house.

The welcome basket and the helpfulness of the owners are appreciated by guests, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
