The whole cottage is so well thought out and appointed. Literally anything you could possibly need was there. Cosy doesn't cover how amazing this place is. The kitchen was a dream to be in and was obviously very well considered and designed. The lounge was an absolute dream and so comfortable it was difficult to find the motivation to get up and out. The views were to outstanding and we found that hours had gone by with us just watching how the vista changed during the day. When we did manage to get out there are lots of wonderful walks and beautiful towns close by. As for the bed I can only liken it to sleeping on a cloud and we have never slept so well. The local pub is only a short walk away and the food is good value for money. All in all this is a gem of a place and we didnât want to leave. We are already planning our next trip in October.

Very peaceful and pretty countryside around. Everything I could need was there and of a high quality. Simply lovely.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, extremely well-equipped, warm and cosy. We loved the spacious kitchen/diner, the cosy living room with log burner and wonderful view of the garden and the woods and valley beyond. The only negatives for us were purely personal: not being fans of reversing, we found the parking outside the cottage a bit tight (and were glad to have arrived in daylight!) and for a couple of days or so there was limited space on the roadside, which became our preferred parking choice. We also would have appreciated a lighter duvet option for a mild October. Despite that, we would certainly recommend Lucky Cottage to others. The cottage is ideally placed, beautiful scenery and lots to do within 30 mins drive in any direction, as well as walks from the door.
