We had a fabulous time staying at Sheep Meadow! By far our favourite holiday cottage. So nice to have a welcome basket and milk in the fridge too! Very thoughtful of the owners who regularly checked in with us to see how we were getting on. Quiet, very comfortable, great big living space with bifold doors. Hot tub was delightful and even though it was mega hot during our week, coming out of the hot tub was so refreshing! We were able to visit loads of places like Heights of Abraham, Bakewell, Lichfield, Chester, Warwick Castle, Shrewsbury, so an excellent location. But coming back we were so relaxed and our highlight was petting the three sheep in our meadow and getting cuddles from the very affectionate ginger cats!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sheep Meadow. The property was clean, comfortable and well planned out. We loved the open plan kitchen / living area, such a lovely bright open space. The views from the bi-folding doors were stunning. It was so lovely to watch the lambs in the field outside our window, with lots of other wildlife and birds to see too. The hot tub is a great size, and located in a very private area to the rear side of the property. Mary was extremely helpful. Regularly, checking to see if we needed anything, but not at all intrusive. It was nice to know she was there if we needed anything. It was a pleasure to meet her, Howard and their lovely family.There are so many things to see and do in the area. We would recommend: Pugin's Gem, St Giles Church, Churnet Valley Railway, World of Wedgwood, Gladstone Pottery Museum, Biddulph Grange & Trentham Estate. Great food at The Black Lion, Cheddleton and The Flintlock, Cheddleton. We would definitely recommend booking, if you are looking for a hidden gem in an idyllic setting.
